Avoid the Consequences of a DUI Conviction

At Berman & Asbel, our attorneys are proactive, always looking for the best solutions for you. If you have been charged with DUI for the first time, we will work vigorously to get you into a Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program. This is a pre-trial intervention program for non-violent offenders who have no prior record.

You need an experienced attorney to help you apply for ARD. Our attorneys have a strong background representing criminal defense clients throughout the Philadelphia Metro area - we have a thorough understanding of the court system and are familiar with the district attorneys, who determine which non-violent offenders will be accepted into ARD.

As your attorneys, we will do everything we can to get you into the program, which automatically gives you the chance to avoid trial, conviction and jail time. While in the program, you will provide community service, take safe driving classes and possibly attend a drug- and alcohol-awareness program.

What's the Benefit of a Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program?

In addition to avoiding conviction and jail time, you will only be on probation for 12 months and your drivers license will be suspended for one to three months - much less than if you were convicted of DUI.

After 12 months, if you have followed all the parameters of ARD, you will be off probation with no conviction on your record. With an experienced attorney, you will be able to expunge the arrest from your record.
