The attorneys at Berman & Asbel, LLP, have aggressively represented clients facing first-offense DUI charges for a combined 80 years. Could You Avoid the Consequences of a DUI Conviction?

Our attorneys are proactive, always looking for the best solutions for you. If you have been charged with DUI for the first time, we will work quickly to get you into an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. This is a pretrial intervention program for nonviolent offenders who have no prior record.

You need an experienced attorney to help you apply for ARD. You will find the help you need at our firm as our lawyers have a thorough understanding of the court system and are familiar with the district attorneys, who determine which nonviolent offenders will be accepted into ARD.

As your attorneys, we will do everything we can to get you into the program, which gives you the chance to avoid trial, conviction and jail time. While in the program, you will provide community service, take safe driving classes, and possibly attend a drug and alcohol awareness program.

What's the Benefit of an Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program?

In addition to avoiding conviction and jail time, you will only be on probation for six to 12 months and your driver's license will be suspended for one to three months — much less than if you were convicted of DUI.

Upon completion of the program, if you have followed all the parameters of ARD, you will be off probation with no conviction on your record. With an experienced lawyer, you will be able to expunge the arrest from your record.
